Biography Dawyn is a tragic tale of love found & lost (& actually found again, but not really). Dawyn was a childhood friend of Gunthyrr Dragondancer & had secretly fallen in love with him. When Gunthyrr set off to train as a warrior, Dawyn entered the priesthood, determined to protect him. They both served in service of Stormwind, protecting the kingdom while many of her heroes were off in Outland. Just as they were getting close, Gunthyrr headed out to serve a tour of duty in Kalimdor helping the Night Elves in Warsong Gulch. Dawyn stayed in Stormwind, waiting for Gunthyrr to return. When he did return, he was more hardened, and spent more time with a Draenei Hunter name Giuel. While both Gunthyrr & Giuel claimed to be just friends, Dawyn felt she was losing Gunthyrr. So, she left first and headed out adventuring through Azeroth. She met up with a rogue named Loughlin & they traveled together for a time. While in Gadgetzan, she received word of the Scourge Invasion in Stormwind & that Gunthyrr was missing. She rushed back to Stormwind & found that he had been declared dead. In mourning, she stayed in Stormwind and tended to the wounded. While there, she ran into Talekkane & discovered that Gunthyrr had become a Death Knight, and one of the Death Knights that recently freed them from the Lich King’s control. She demanded to know where he was, and Talekkane told her he had gone to Outland to discover himself. She set out for Outland, determined to find him. After some searching, she found him in Outland, and discovered that while he was still the Gunthyrr she knew, there was something missing as well. She said farewell to him and then set out for Northrend, determined to make the Lich King pay for what he did to Gunthyrr. She met up with Korono, who she had known as a Sojin, and joined Gods of Brutality, and then Righteous Vindication when it spilt off. She went on with Righteous Vindication into Icecrown Citadel and was there when the Lich King fell. Vengeance was hers! Since then, she has stayed in Dalaran and recently helped the Gnomes during Operation: Gnomergan. She then returned to Stormwind and resumed priestly duties at the Cathedral of Light.
Personality Dawyn is a kind-hearted soul who hates to bring harm to anyone. She is almost a pacifist, except she knows that fighting is sometimes necessary. As a result, she is focused on the healing arts, helping those who are in need. And in battle, keeping up her allies who are doing the real fighting. She has a particular distaste for the Scourge and enjoys unleashing her holy power against them.
