Biography Since he was a young farm boy, Shokan dreamed of doing
greater things. He grew up hearing stories of Lothar & Uther,
Paladins of the Silver Hand during the First War with the Horde. Shokan
idolized them & wanted to become like them. When he could, he made
his way to Stormwind, determined to become a Knight of the Silver Hand…a Paladin.
When Uther was taken down by Arthas, Shokan was furious. He desired to
enact vengeance against all the evil in the world. Shokan started
seeking out evil wherever he found it in the world, which led him to meet
Talekkane. Shokan joined the Sojin, another means in which to enact
vengeance against the Darkness, in the name of the Light. But, as time
passed, Shokan’s desire for vengeance eased, particularly after he journeyed
to Outland and met the Naaru, A’dal. Shokan’s focus shifted from
vengeance to protecting & healing the innocent. He spent the war with the Lich King healing
and taking care of the wounded. But,
as time went on, he also felt he had lost something. He has since gone out to rediscover
himself, to find the balance between the fire of youth and the compassion of
maturity. He briefly returned from his
“walkabout” & helped the gnomes during Operation: Gnomergan. He then returned to Stormwind to train
future Paladins in service to the |

Personality Shokan used to have a fire to bring Divine Retribution to all
evil he came across, born of his anger over the tragic end of his hero.
He is currently balancing that fire with wisdom, after setting out to
rediscover himself. Content being away from adventuring, he is willing
& able to if he feels there is a need for it. In the end, he is a
servant of the Light. |
