Biography Talekkane was a young apprentice in the art of magic when the Exodar crashed on Azeroth.  When Talekkane emerged from his pod, he set out to help secure their new homeland while searching for his brother, Tamaro.  He finally gave up and believed him dead, and headed out on the mission that has always drove him…to hunt & fight the darkness that always seems to envelope every world he’s seen.  While in Ironforge establishing contacts, he met a young warrior named Koron who had a fire like his.  They joined forces & formed the Sojin, a Draenei word meaning “Hunter of the Dark”.  It was decided that Ironforge would be the Sojin base as it was a central hub for the Alliance (& Koron threatened to break Talekkane’s kneecaps if it wasn’t Ironforge).  Talekkane continued to make contacts & finding young adventurers who had the fire to hunt the darkness.  Talekkane started becoming bogged down with the business of running the Sojin rather than going out & fighting the darkness.  He set out once more searching for the darkness, this time adventuring with another Sojin, a druid named Caeli.  He eventually went through the Dark Portal, returning to Outland.  Shortly after his return to Outland, the Lich King stretched out his hand to threaten Azeroth. Talekkane made his way to Northrend and was involved early on in the War with the Lich King. Then he was summoned back to Stormwind to consult with Alliance leaders and to help with the Logistics of running a war across such a distance. He decided to pull the Sojin back to watch over the Homelands while the Alliance’s heroes were away fighting the Lich King. This decision didn’t sit well with Koron, who left the Sojin and stayed on the forefront of battle in Northrend. With the war over, he oversees mop up operations from a base in Dalaran (and he enjoys the company of the mages of the Kirin Tor). He recently acted as a consultant on Operation: Gnomergan and actually got to flex is magic muscles again. He was called to Stormwind sometime after that to discuss with Alliance leaders unusual earthquakes taking place across all of Azeroth.
Personality Talekkane is torn between two desires.  On the one hand, he desires to go out & fight the darkness that plagues the world, yet, at the same time, to be effective, he has to step back & manage the force he has put together to do the job.  It is something he has gotten better about handling.  There is a time to fight & a time to organize. And as time has gone on, he has found that his talents lend themselves more to organizing and he has dutifully pursued that direction.
